The TLSS Journey
The Little Swim School is proudly owned and operated by Jess and Trav with their two children, Henry and Winnie.
They are passionate about offering quality swimming and water safety programs to all.
Jess has been part of the aquatic industry for over 20 years, managing large swim schools in local government-run facilities, working for peak industry bodies including Life Saving Victoria and AUSTSWIM, and training pool lifeguards and swim teachers. Jess is also a regular presenter at national swimming and water safety conferences within the aquatic industry.
Throughout her career, Jess has gained the necessary experience to understand the optimal teaching environment for swimming students. She understands the need for small, tailored classes in purpose-built facilities with teachers who can adapt their teaching style to suit each student’s needs. It was from this understanding, the concept of The Little Swim School was born.
Jess and Trav want to make a difference in the community. They love meeting new families and enjoy the satisfaction of running high-quality programs which result in successful learning for all. Jess particularly enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge with her staff and the Little Swim School family. The programs offered are creative and dynamic, taking a personalised approach to each and every student. The staff are not only coached and mentored by Jess personally but empowered to find and embrace their love for aquatics.
We’d love you to join the family in our purpose-built facility, where we specialise in swimming and water safety programs for all. The Little Swim School offers small class sizes, with new creative swim ideas for both parents and children. Our MagnaPool is warm and cozy, making it fun and easy to swim year-round.

Our Approach
The Little Swim School team believe in quality over quantity, so we have designed and created a personalised swim school that encourages a love of the water and shares our extensive water safety knowledge with you and your precious family. We take the time to get to know you, tailoring our program to each student’s needs from a holistic perspective. We work with families to set and achieve water safety, development and social goals. Our diverse team specialise in many areas such as Access & Inclusion, CALD, infants, toddlers, pre-schooler, and school age teaching.
